In this article, we delve into the essential steps and considerations involved in updating Vess-A RAID drivers.
- First of All, you have to check the PKG version already installed on your machine.
- Go to Promise WebPAM PROe.
- After adding your credentials go to controllers and expand the list.
- Click on the controller name.

- Check the PKG version installed to download the latest one.
- Now you can download the latest package.
- Go to https://www.promise.com/Support/downloadcenter
- Click the Vess Logo
- Click on your machine
- go to the drivers section select the Latest package from the list and download it.
- Firstly you should stop any VMS services running as (Recording or Management).
- Now you can install the downloaded package.
- Now click the package to start the installation.
- Click yes in the popup dialog.
- Wait till extracting is finished.
- Click yes in the popup dialog (Be note machine will reboot during the installation process).
- Click Next, Click Install.
- Wait till all Command Line windows finish and disappear.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click Restart Now to apply changes.
- After reboot you can open WebPAM PROe and check the PKG version as mentioned before.
- Also, you can check the new features and solved Issues in the new PKG by downloading the release notes from the Download Center
