It is an Apollo design limitation for first time finding and claiming. This is because the client’s mobile device and the Apollo unit are under different public IP addresses and unable to see each other even through VPN connections.
Users will not find an Apollo to claim, if the Apollo unit is in the office and the user is at home, even when connected through a VPN.
