Before you begin, be sure the RJ11-to-DB9 serial data cable is connected between the Host PC and the Vess R3600 enclosure, and that both machines are booted and running.
Then do the following actions:
1. Change your terminal emulation program settings to match the following specifications:
- Bits per second: 115200
- Data bits: 8
- Parity: None
- Stop bits: 1
- Flow control: none
2. Start your PC’s terminal VT100 or ANSI emulation program.
3. Press Enter once to launch the CLI.
Logging Into the CLI
- At the Login prompt, type the user name and press Enter.
The default user name is administrator.
- At the Password prompt, type the password and press Enter.
The default password is password.
The CLI screen appears.
