The link speed is reported as 1.5 or 3.0, depending on the default setting set by Hitachi. Please contact Hitachi for a utility to un toggle the 3.0 Gbit/sec setting. Attached is the util.
I have an Hitachi HDS725050KLA360 drive 3Gig drive and it reports as 1.5Gig. What is going on?
