This KB will show you how to grant full access to the Utility. When you have installed Promise Utility .dmg file on your Mac correctly, the Promise Utility could be unable to open due to Mac settings.

The screen could pop up a message window reminding you there is an access problem regarding the software. This is related to the security default setting under Mac OS 10.15.

Follow below steps to ebable the full access.

Step 1. Go to the settings menu on your Mac computer.

Step 2. Go to the privacy tab and click on the plus icon. This is the precursor to add Promise Utility into the allowed list later.

Step 3. Go to the location of the Promise Utility, find it, and select it. Usually it's under the application folder. Press the open button.

Step 4. Go back to the same menu under Privacy tab. You should now see that Promise Utility has been newly added into the allow list. Click the lock and the change is finished.

Step 5. A message window will pop up to remind you that, to allow this change to take effect, you need to quit the Promise Utility and then reopen it.

Now, you should be able to use Pegasus2 R2+ Promise Utility normally.
