To use your NS2300/4300 as a media server you will have to enable the DLNA plugin which will allow the SMARTSTOR Media Center to run. In order to acess the SMARTSTOR Media Center you will have to forward the IP address of the NS by following this procedure:
- Log in to your local router and enable Port Forwarding. [Please refer to your router documentation for information on enabling this feature...]
- Enable port 3056 in your router and have it forwarded to the IP address of the NS2300/4300.
- Once the port is assigned, open a browser and enter the IP address of your cable modem:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3056 where x is the IP address of the cable modem.
