KB 10291 -  Does Promise support Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 16MB or 64MB cache drives?

 

For SR2.6 Promise supports Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 with 16MB cache drives (http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-US&vgnextoid=6664470bd8cc1210VgnVCM1000001a48090aRCRD#TabContentSpecifications)

 

Though currently the SR 2.6 Compatibility List (http://www.promise.com/media_bank/Download%20Bank/Compatibility/E-Class_Compatibility_List_SR2.6.pdf) reports we support Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 64MB cache drives.  We will correct this and repost the SR 2.6 Compatibility List accordingly.
