Ultra What are the motherboard requirements for using the Ultra100TX2?
Ken Chou posted this 09 June 2004

Product: Ultra100TX2

Platform: all

Firmware/Bios Version: all

Additional Description:

Cause: Minimal Ultra100 Requirements, PCI 2.1 Compliancy, Bus-Mastering Enabled

Solution: Is your motherboard, at least, PCI 2.1 compliant? The Ultra100 will not work on a motherboard that is less than PCI 2.1 compliant. You can get this information from motherboard specifications or the manufacturer of the computer. Other requirements would be a PnP BIOS on your motherboard and that your motherboard supports bus mastering. The Ultra100 will not work in your computer if either one of these requirements are not met.
