Solution: Is your motherboard, at least, PCI 2.1 compliant? The Ultra100 will not work on a motherboard that is less than PCI 2.1 compliant. You can get this information from motherboard specifications or the manufacturer of the computer. Other requirements would be a PnP BIOS on your motherboard and that your motherboard supports bus mastering. The Ultra100 will not work in your computer if either one of these requirements are not met.

Additional Description: This message comes up even if a CD is attached

Solution: No Hard Drives are being detected at the Ultra Bios Posting. Check cables, jumpers, power connectors and lastly check drives to insure they are detected on a standard hard disk controller. This may come up if the only drive is a CD drive. It should still see the CD from the OS. A CD cannot be a boot drive if it is attached to the card. Only a hard drive can be set to boot when attached to the card.
